3) A real Burberry bag will sport perfect horizontal and vertical stripes across the entire surface. On fake Burberry products, the lines are often crooked in at least one place on the bag. 3. The Logo of Burberry Bag

4. The Metal Plaque or Leather Tag

1) Some Burberry bags contain either a metal plaque or a leather tag. The metal plaque should match the colour of the bags outside hardware along with an engraving of 'Burberry - London' in the brand's signature font.

2) Many (but not all) of the leather tags have 'Made in Italy' stamped on the back. Nowadays, Burberry does make some items in China, especially smaller bags and accessories, so don't worry if you spot a 'Made in China' stamp in the bag. Check that the logo is centred and that any stitching is aligned and neat. The engraving on the plaque should be neat, sharp, and clear. Many fake purses feature uneven and blurry engraving.

3) Some bags do not have" made in" lable, but the text are stamped on the inner leather of the bag instead. Whether it's metal or leather, the font of the logo on the stamp or engraving is very distinctive.

4) Additionally, most new and authentic Burberry handbags feature a style number on the reverse of the 'Made in' label.

5. Hardware

1) All hardware on a Burberry bag is made of solid metal, usually engraved with the logo and a high-quality finish. It's heavy and substantial. It's never flimsy, and it won't chip or flake. Some pieces of hardware are engraved with the equestrian knight symbol.

6. The Lining

1) Most of Burberry bags are made of calf leather, mix of cotton and linen or polyester. Burberry signature fabric has a thick jacquard base, with BURBERRY woven repeatedly throughout in glossy beige, black, brown or red thread.
