It comes in a range of materials including Calfskin, Smooth Graphite Calfskin Leather, Grained Calfskin Metallic, croc-embossed leather. Despite its dainty looking design, the YSL Kate has proven to be quite durable. It's also worth keeping in mind that grained and embossed-leather will always be less prone to visible damage when compared to smooth leather or suede. The Calfskin leather is soft yet durable, and also shiny.

Sizes & Colors

It looks tiny and it is tiny in reality as well, if you put too much in this bag than you have to rearrange it too. But for all your essential daily basis things there is plenty of room. It has black, umber, dark beige, blanc vintage, dark khaki now on the offical site. Choose a pop color and jazz up any of your outlook. Envelope is Another recognizable Saint Laurent bag, which as the name suggests, features an envelope-like closure tipped with the iconic flashy monogram. The V-flap can be secured closed with a magnetic snap closure, making it easy to open and close.

Featuring classic quilted leather, the brand's signature chevron pattern, diamond and vertical quilted finishes, it's a refined interpretation of a classic wallet-on-chain design and it's a must-have for those obsessed with designer chain bags. With a long chain-link strap and a leather shoulder rest, so it's comfortable to wear on the shoulders. The shoulder strap of the small bag cannot be folded up, while the medium and large size can. They can be worn in multiple ways: a crossbody bag, a shoulder bag, and even a clutch.  

It's very French and captures the style Yves Saint Laurent had in his days which is quite understated elegance and perfection. You can take it during the day with me either as a cross body bag or as a shoulder bag and on to the evenings, it makes a stunning clutch for the parties and events.

The YSL Envelopeis known for its durable matelassé grain de poudre (grained) leather that's less prone to scratches. The stitching of the matelassé leather is stitched to perfection, creating the gorgeous quilted look. 

The leather is 100% calfskin leather and textured, so it is very durable. Calfskin, which is a tougher and thicker leather is usually better for handbags because the leather retains its shape more easily. The calfskin of this bag is soft while remaining highly durable, making it good for harsh conditions and withstanding abrasions.

Envelope bag also comes in a range of seasonal colors, from dark beige, blanc vintage, rouge opyum, natural dark, brick + natural beige, dark green, navy, khaki green, fog with gold hardware to a neutral sea salt with silver. It's a boxy bag with an accordion body that opens up using the magnetic flap closure and recognizable logo. The bag features a soft, suede-line interior. Its considered interior gives room to one main compartment, a slip pocket, and an open pocket at the front. So if you love to keep things organized, this is the bag for you. 

Some models of medium size have handles, some do not. The top handle and a chain strap in metal hardware add to the bag's versatility. Other high-end touche is it has a detachable branded leather tag.

What's so great about the Sunset is the adjustable straps that can be worn either crossbody or as a shoulder bag. For a more casual day look, wear the bag as an effortless cross-body and for the evening double the strap up and use it as a classic, eye-catching shoulder bag. Envelope is one of the most spotted YSL bag. It's a refined interpretation of a classic wallet-on-chain design. I love how very elegant this gorgeous lady really is and that has not stopped her being quite versatile at the same time.
