  • Levi's

Levi's Brand History and Origin

Levi's ,world's largest maker of pants, noted especially for its blue denim jeans called Levi's (registered trademark). Its other products include tailored slacks, jackets, hats, shirts, skirts, and belts, and it licenses the manufacture of novelty items. The company is headquartered in San Francisco.

The company traces its origin to Levi Strauss (1829–1902), a Bavarian immigrant who arrived in San Francisco in 1850 during the Gold Rush, bringing dry goods for sale to miners. Hearing of the miners’ need for durable pants, Strauss hired a tailor to make garments out of tent canvas. Later, denim was substituted, and copper riveting was added to pocket seams. Above the back pocket, they would sew a leather patch that all could see with a drawing of two horses trying to pull apart a pair of jeans.

By the 1960s, Levi's and other jeans-once worn chiefly by American cowboys-had become popular worldwide. There are said to be the equivalent of 7 pairs of jeans per person in the world and the US produces up to 450 million of them alone every year.

Levi's Jeans Price:  Men's Jeans: $29.98 - $444.98; Women' s Jeans: $27.98 -$298.

Levi's Design & Style

From the beginning, Levi's denim overalls were made for cowboys, lumberjacks, and the working class man. Today, Levi's jeans are an American tradition known for their quality and array of styles. Levi's jeans still have that '60s casual and free appeal, but these evergreens can be worn in many different contexts and never look out of place. The popular Levi's jeans include 501, 502, 505, 510, 511, 551, etc.

The brand and product are rooted in authenticity and originality. The brand is a celebration of democratic and inclusive ideals. They have always been a brand that connects people. Cool city kids, hipsters, people from the heartland, moms in the suburbs. They all wear Levi's and they all wear them their own way. Of the inclusive and democratic nature of thier brand.

Levi's jeans come in many shades of blue, grey and black, but the indigo blue is their staple color and found in many of their jeans styles. Levi's also has much better designs for plus size women as they come in beautiful colors and fit really well.

Levi's Jeans Quality

Levi's jeans are renowned for being long lasting and not prone to tearing easily or having the worn out look that cheaper jeans do. When it comes to quality, the higher price of Levi's is, in a way, an indication as to how well-made these jeans are. We are aware that just because the price is high does not guarantee the quality of the product, but in this case it does. Levi's unique advantages include the following: Waterless denim, Cottonized hemp, Recycled polyester denim, Soft Tencel Lyocell, Organic cotton. Many of these materials available in the stretch and non-stretch versions.

The stitching is also perfect and extremely durable and the fabric is smooth and very comfortable. The fit of Levi's is great and takes no back seat to any brand.

  • Wrangler

Wrangler Brand History and Origin

Wrangler is an American manufacturer of jeans and other clothing items, particularly workwear. The brand is owned by Kontoor Brands Inc., which also owns Lee. Its headquarters is in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina, in the United States, with production plants in a variety of locations throughout the world.

In the mid '40s, Blue Bell, who had previously been making Super Big Ben Overalls out of 100% sanforized fabric, purchased the Casey Jones Work-Clothes company alongside the rights to the name Wrangler.

Levi's produced the first pair of denim work overalls in 1873, and Wrangler followed in 1947 with what were by now called blue jeans, inspired by their southern heritage and rodeo culture. Wrangler and tailor Bernard Lichtenstein (or“Rodeo Ben”as he was known) began developing a line of jeans specifically for cowboys and rodeo use. This was the origin of Wrangler jeans as a real entitiy. Jim Shoulders, Bill Linderman, and Freckles Brown - all professional rodeo cowboys - signed off on Wrangler's comfort, reliability, and quality after extensive testing.

Wrangler Price:  Men's Jeans: $19.99 - $180; Women's Jeans: $29.99 - $119;  Kids' jeans: $10 - $59.

Wrangler Design & Style

Wrangler offers a selection of relaxed fit, loose fit, classic fit and slim fit.  Second, Wrangler uses a U-shaped construction at the crotch. That allows more room for crotch stuff. Wrangler uses a flat seam construction on the inner seams so that you get less chafing if you're riding a horse. Wrangler offers a lot of straight leg and bootcut legs but not a lot of tapered leg styles. Bootcut is a fashion that looks great on women who want to look slimmer through the hips or balance out a larger chest. And it's a practical style for men who wear boots.

Wrangler also speaks country out loud with its flared lines and signature indigo tint. Even if a pair of low Converse matches Wrangler jeans, boots are its natural companion.

Wrangler jeans are certainly not just for farmers and other manual workers, they can also be used as casual wear for office or school and as an outfit for different kinds of social events. They are also available in various fit and styles which it makes easier for you to find and select the pair of jeans that is appropriate for your own body type.

Wrangler Quality

Wrangler jeans are known as work pants and the difference to their advantage can be seen in abrasion resistance. Wrangler jeans are hardier and sturdier in nature, making them less soft than other denim brands, but they are rugged, durable, and made of a heavier twill that fades evenly, making the jeans look better for longer. They always sees to it that their jeans products can stand up to the rigors of manual jobs and farm works.

They also include a double-stitched outer seam that adds to their durability. The only potential con might be the pockets on the back, which are generally higher up and closer to the yoke, which is a classic look, but not a trendy one.

This American brand is very committed to producing green products, so it offers jeans and T-shirts made with sustainable and recycled cotton, and it repurposes fabric scraps for new accessories.

  • Lee

Lee Brand History and Origin

Lee is an American brand formed in 1889 by Henry David Lee as the HD Lee Mercantile Company at Salina, Kansas, producing dungarees and jackets. And then they introduced their famous Union-All jumpsuit designed for workers, in 1913. Later, in 1920, they introduced their first overalls and a few years after that the zipper fly was added into their designs.

As denim garments grew in popularity, starting to be worn by subcultures and people who wore them as casual wear rather than just for work, Lee's product range and client base also grew with that. in the 1970s, Lee turned to fashion wear, after being acquired by VF Corporation. The brand started to expand and modernize their product lines by creating collections for women, such as the Ms. Lee label, and then later also introduced youth wear.

Lee's Jeans Price: Women's jeans: $39.99 - $300;  Men's Jeans:  $24.99 - $350; Boys Jeans: $19.99 - $42.

Lee's Design & Style

Lee jeans are now some of the most modern and durable jeans for men and women.  Lee creates the classic suspender trousers and produces the world's first zipper jeans. With this LEE jeans becoming the classic and authority of the jeans arena, it is regarded as one of the three largest Jeans Brands in the world. A characteristic of Lee jeans, as some of you may know, is the lazy “S” stitching on the back pocket, which was made the official design for the brand's back pockets in 1944.

Unique advantages of Lee jeans worth mentioning are their vintage and modern vintage jeans which give these denim pants a unique attraction. Lee also provides a good product range and now that the weather is getting warmer, their cargo and cropped designs are perfect for this weather.

Lee has the smallest size selection compared to Levi's and Wrangler jeans. Lee women's jeans sizes cover misses, petite, plus, and tall. Bootcut, flare, tapered, straight, and skinny are the fit of these Lee jeans for women.

Lee's Jeans Quality

Jeans of Lee brand are made with ultra-flexible waistband and high-stretch fabrication of denim which makes these jeans comfortable, smooth, and soft. At all the right places, there are curves that provide ultimate comfort. The lee brand brings some of its jeans from recycled fabrics with added stretch for comfortable wear.

A pair of jeans should last longer than just a few days or months; that is only possible when this is made up of good fabric. No doubt Lee uses good quality fabrics, known as denim, to make their jeans. Denim is a rugged and durable cotton fabric that is used mostly in jeans.

Lee has more trendy jeans and their target audience might also be younger men and women.
