Real Reviews of Nutritional Shakes

1. Truvani Organic Vegan Protein Powder

1698304259266021.jpg

Editor's review

Truvani Protein Powder’s formula contains only five simple ingredients.

Truvani protein powder is vegan, USDA organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free, which is pretty amazing for a protein powder.

Most other protein products on the market use added fillers to make them bulk, artificial flavors to make them taste better, and artificial colors to make them look prettier. Health-conscious people often want cleaner products like this.

Truvani Plant-Based Protein Powder contains 20 grams of protein per 1 scoop. It can be mixed with 8 ounces of water or milk for a quick, portable, healthy source of protein.

Protein powders offer vital nutrition that supports weight management, muscle building, tissue recovery, and hormone regulation. This is especially crucial for vegans, athletes, women, older, or primarily plant-based diets.

Truvani Protein Powder comes in various flavor options, including chocolate, banana cinnamon, chocolate peanut butter, and vanilla, which mixes well with everything.

Taste:

Truvani protein powder tastes pretty good. It's a little too sweet for me, but I like the texture and it blends well.

It's flavored with real vanilla and sweetened with organic monk fruit extract, so it also doesn't have the artificial aftertaste that many protein powders have.

As with all protein powders, it tastes better with milk rather than water, but just water is certainly fine.

Clean Formula, Free of Additives & Fillers: You deserve products that are free of artificial sweeteners, additives & fillers;

Truvani plant based protein powder has no soy, wheat, dairy, gluten, or stevia;

Certified USDA Organic: Our plant based vegan protein powder is certified USDA Organic, as well as being non-GMO, stevia-free & vegan-friendly; With simple ingredients & a straightforward label.

2. Ka’Chava All-In-One Nutrition Shake

1698305086697158.jpg

Editor's review

Ka’chava is a ready-to-go-meal powder made with a blend of plant-based proteins and organic superfoods. The company calls it a “whole-body meal” protein shake.

Ka'Chava claims to be the cleanest, most natural, and most nutritious meal replacement shake.

In fact, Ka'chava is a one-of-a-kind, portable meal designed to sustain your energy, control hunger, promote lean muscle, and aid digestive health and mental focus.

I think this is a great product and I highly recommend it. Ka'chava tastes great and is a super healthy shake - there's no denying it.

In addition, Ka'chava meal replacement contains 25 grams of protein, 9 grams of fiber, and 20% or more of 26 essential vitamins and minerals, most of which are found naturally in a 240 kcal envelope.

Ka'Chava contains a probiotic/prebiotic blend that helps grow and feed good bacteria. Digestive enzymes also aid in the breakdown and absorption of nutrients in the gastrointestinal tract.

Ka'Chava contains a blend of adaptogens, a group of ingredients that help your body adapt to stress. This mixture consists mainly of mushrooms, whose adaptive properties have been studied.

Adaptogens may also play a role in improving energy, and the magnesium in Ka'Chava can help improve sleep, thereby reducing daytime fatigue.

We need adequate amounts of protein to support the muscle building process. Fortunately, Ka'chava is a rich source of protein. Additionally, when we exercise our muscles, we are also supporting our bones and joints.

Your skin, hair, and nails have the fastest cell turnover, so they are often the first places you notice malnutrition. Ka'Chava can have a positive impact on appearance.

Some of the other named benefits include boosted energy, weight management, muscle toning, and heart health thanks to additional superfoods that contain magnesium, vitamin D, iron, phosphorus, protein, and electrolytes.

My favorite is the vanilla flavor, which is not too strong but tastes very refreshing.

Taste:

Ka'Chava doesn't have the chalky, unnatural taste of protein powders I've tried.

Certification:

Ka’chava is vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and soy-free and does not contain any preservatives or artificial colors, flavors, or artificial sweeteners.

Many of its ingredients are organic, and there is one allergen warning on the Ka’chava nutrition label; it contains tree nuts (coconut.)

Price:

You can pick up one tub of 840 grams for somewhere between $50 and $55. That contains 14 servings of two scoops, so you’re looking at a price of roughly $3.75 per serving.

That’s pretty pricy for a meal replacement, which typically cost closer to $2.50 per serving. But since it’s all-natural and has a big emphasis on digestive health, you may find the price worth it.

Flavor:

What flavors does Isalean Shake come in?

  • Snickerdoodle

  • Creamy Dutch Chocolate

  • Creamy French Vanilla

  • Strawberry Cream

  • Chocolate Mint

  • Natural Creamy Vanilla

Taste:

Since this is naturally flavored, I find it tastes sweeter than the original. However, I must say I was impressed by the taste. This is the "Strawberry Cream" flavor and it definitely tastes creamy. Best of all, it tastes like light strawberry syrup, which is nice.

You can mix Isagenix shakes with milk or water and is a great meal replacement shake because it is low in fat, cholesterol, and sodium.

Certification:

Isagenix Company asserts that the protein included in Isagenix shakes are devoid of antibiotics or hormones.

4. RYSE Loaded Protein Powder

1698305270620244.jpg

Editor's review

Ryse Supps Loaded Protein provides 25 grams of protein per scoop from the highest quality protein sources – Whey Protein Isolate and Whey Protein Concentrate!

Loaded Protein also contains organic agave inulin (prebiotic fiber), MCT (medium chain triglyceride) oil, and is extremely easy to digest.

When we tried it, we were blown away by the taste, mixability, consistency, and quality ingredient selection.

Regardless of what flavor you choose, you’ll always be getting 25g of protein per scoop, which is an excellent, tasty, and convenient way to hit your daily protein goal! Most people don’t believe it’s only 130 calories with 1g of sugar after tasting it.

They have also added organic inulin fiber, which provides a host of benefits including satiety and improved calcium and magnesium absorption.

In order to differentiate yourself in the protein powder game today you need to be different, the addition of MCT and prebiotic fibers help separate this protein from other WPI/WPC proteins on the market.

Price:

Currently, Ryse Protein is listed between $42.99 and $44.99 for a 27-serving tub, or $72.99 for a 54-serving tub. This makes the cost anywhere from $1.35 to $1.67 per serving.

Flavor:

Here’s an updated list of all available flavors of Ryse Loaded Protein:

  • Chocolate Cookie Blast

  • Blueberry Muffin

  • Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup

  • Cinnamon Toast

  • Fruity Crunch

  • Gingerbread Cookie

  • Jet Puffed Birthday Cake

  • Jet-Puffed Marshmallow

  • Kool-Aid Tropical Punch

  • MoonPie Chocolate

  • Skippy Peanut Butter

  • Vanilla Peanut Butter

Ryse Loaded Protein is definitely one of their best sellers and we expect that a lot more delicious flavors are in the works.

Taste:

In powder form, Ryse Loaded Protein is slightly more lumpy than some other powders, reminiscent of flour rather than free-flowing dry sand.

This is actually not surprising given the addition of MCT, which tends to be less "dry," but more importantly, this has almost zero effect on mixability.

It mixes very easily with just a few quick shakes in the blender bottle and doesn't require much mixing with a spoon to fully dissolve in hot water and milk.

The consistency is smooth and not thick using Ryse's recommended 170 - 230ml of water, more people prefer to mix each scoop with about 250ml of water.

If you’re sick of drinking thin, bland, and water protein shakes, then put Loaded Protein on your list of shakes to try — it’s basically a milkshake, especially when mixed with almond milk or regular milk! If you just crushed an intense workout, then treat yourself with a drink that will help you recover and curb your cravings!
