Hersheypark Rides & Roller Coasters List

If you're an adrenaline seeker, you must ride on these exciting roller coasters and thrilling rides.

Skyrush is the tallest and fastest coaster at Hersheypark qualifies as a hypercoaster. It hits a top speed of 75 miles per hour and the bottom of its 85-degree first drop. Skyrush features five "airtime" hills and a series of high-speed turns. The coaster boasts unique 32-seat trains, which seat riders four-across.

Fahrenheit is a steel roller coaster and is the second steepest in the United States. This vertical lift coaster drops riders at a 97-degree angle, after an initial 90-degree, 121-foot lift. The Ingenieur Büro Stengel coaster also features a Norwegian Loop, Cobra Roll and Double Corkscrew with a top speed of 58 mph.

Lightning Racer is the first wooden duble-track dueling coaster in the United States which has two separate trackers that are designed to closely interact with each other. The ride features a total of 6800' of track (3400 each side) and speeds up to 50mph.

Storm Runner is America's first hydraulic launched coaster with inversions. It  catapults riders from 0 to 72 mph in two seconds flat and then climbs 18 stories high before executing a 135 foot cobra loop, barrel rolls, and flying snake dive.

Great Bear is an inverted roller coaster. Riders hit a top speed of 61 miles per hour at the base of Great Bear's 124-foot firsr drop, before racing through a series of inversions. This includes a vertical loop, an Immelmann loop, a zero-g roll and a corkscrew.

Comet - This classic wooden coaster is a huge fan favorite. It's 'L' spaped out-and-back/figure eight features a tight 98' initial plunge, lots of air time and a few quick turns. Top speed is 50mph with a 3360' track length.

Laff Trakk is the first spinning, steel glow-coaster in the United States with glow-in-the-dark tracks and a range of colorful theming elements. It will take riders through an old-fashioned fun house at up to 40 miles per hour.

Hershey's Tower standing at 189 feet high, the tallest of the three drop towers features two gravity-defying experiences, SPACE SHOT & TURBO DROP, which rockets riders to the top before blasting back to the bottom at 45 miles per hour!

The Claw is a gyro-swing style ride, in which guests sit in a circular gondola that swings back and forth pendulum-style, spinning as it goes.

Tidal Force is a classic "shoot-the-chutes"-style water, in which guests board multi-passenger boats that plunge down a 100-foot drop. Expect to get thoroughly soaked.

For little kids, Hersheypark offers a great variety of Kiddie Rides. The following 3 rides are highly recommended.

Livery Stables is the perfect carrousel for your little ones! This low-speed and gentle ride is the perfect stepping stone before jumping in the saddle on the big Carrousel.

Mini Pirate is a miniature swinging ship ride aimed at young children. It is the perfect low-speed and gentle way to ease them into the thrill of swings and the feeling of weightlessness.

Ride on Red Baron, children glide through the air at a slow and gentle speed at their own height, on these realistic biplanes.

On a hot summer day, there’s no better combination than a ride and water. The Boardwalk water park sits right inside the Hersheypark amusement park(it's completely included in park admission).

You'll find a variety of fun experiences for swimsuit-wearing families, from spray grounds for littles to seriously show-stopping water slides. The Intercoastal Waterway lazy river and man-made beach The Shore are all-ages crowd-pleasers, too.

The Coastline Plunge has a number of high thrill tubes to slide down including favorites like Hydro, Riptide, Surge, Vortex, Whirlwind and Pipeline. Of course, don’t miss a ride on the Breakers Edge Water Coaster.

Keep in mind that admission to Hersheypark includes entry to ZooAmerica, a North American wildlife park with an entrance from the theme park.  This 11-acre area boasts more than 200 animals and is great for taking a little break from the fast paced rides and roller coasters.

All animals on view are native to North America and the zoo is divided into five regions of American ecosystems. You can see black bears, ocelot,  river otter, gray wolf pups, young mountain lion and more.  It is definitely a must place for any wildlife fan.
