While much of the design remains the same as the Ayaneo Air and Ayaneo Next, the Ayaneo 2 manages to be a big refresh in many of the ways that matter most. Size-wise, it’s similar to the Ayaneo Next dimensions of 10.4 x 4.2 x 0.9 inches and a 7-inch LCD screen. It’s closer to Switch OLED territory rather than the Switch Lite like we saw with the Ayaneo Air (and was also one of its biggest selling points). The AYANEO Geek measures 10.3 x 4.1 x 1.4 inches (26.4 x 10.5 x 3.6 cm) at its thickest. It is slightly larger than the AYANEO 2. The screen has a 7” slim bezel touchscreen with a 1200P resolution. An 800P resolution is also available. While the screen quality is very good it does have slightly lower vibrancy and colour in comparison to the amazing AYANEO 2 display.

The AYANEO Geek is a completely different AMD 6800U console. The black standard version has the same screen from the previous flagship NEXT model, evolving to an extremely slim bezel design, 800P/1200P screen for optional, a 1280*800 resolution wide gamut,400 nits and a high brightness screen with a maximum brightness of AMD 6800U has extreme sufficient performance on the 800P screen.The Purple version has a 1200P screen and Share same high-class screen as AYANEO 2.

The display on the AYANEO Next features a touchscreen H-IPS 800p resolution (1280×800). You might be thinking that it’s too low for a 2024 device, but as a 7-inch display, it is crisp and detailed. The integrated Vega 8 graphics GPU and screen resolution are a perfect combination, keeping game performances high. AYANEO Next includes a Ryzen 7 5800U mobile CPU with a Dual-Core 8 Thread Processor. It is worth noting that this handheld device consists of AMD Zen 3 Cezzane Cores. 

The Aya Neo Next comes in a few different models. The base Next has an AMD Ryzen 5825U, 16GB RAM, and 1TB of internal NVMe storage with the upgraded base version having 2TB of internal storage.There is also a Pro model available, which is also the most expensive, that has the same Ryzen chip but with 32GB RAM and 2TB of internal storage.

Surprisingly, the sound quality is fairly impressive. The AYA NEO Next is thicker than previous devices, and this extra space must be packing extra, or more powerful speakers, along with its other upgrades.

Coming from the boxy form of the original Ayaneo or the “Switch on Steroids” that was the Ayaneo Next, the Air is altogether more refined. The design is all about being thin and light, gentle contours instead of hard angles, and a look that takes more than a little inspiration from the Switch Lite. It’s a gaming PC you can carry in your pocket, and that’s not something you can say about most of its competitors. 

The Ayaneo Air Pro comes in at 224mm (w) x 89mm (h) x 29mm (d) and weighs 450g which puts it a very similar size to that of the Nintendo Switch Lite, which is extremely impressive given the technology inside this little console and the type of games it can run. The base Air Pro for 16GB of 4266Mhz DDR4 RAM and 512GB of storage, but can be configured with up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of internal storage.

As soon as you boot the device, one of the standouts of the Air Pro is the display. It’s a 1080p 5.5″ AMOLED touchscreen display that is absolutely gorgeous. Verdict: Which Is Best For You?

Which one is best for you, it really comes down to what form factor you want. The AyaNeo Air Pro is great because its a small package with really decent hardware. The Ayaneo 2, Geek, and Next at a larger form factor is more powerful. There are differences between The Ayaneo 2, Geek, and Next:

The Ayaneo 2 performs an average of 38% faster than the Steam Deck. Against the Ayaneo Next, it comes in a whopping 60% faster on average. In Pro Mode, you're sacrificing battery life for maximum performance. 

AyaNeo 2 & Geek nearly identical in shape, size, and weight. Both offer a 50.25 wHr battery. There are a handful of differences, but they're overall small and feel like fair scale-backs for the lower price. The biggest difference is that the Ayaneo 2 features an edge-to-edge display while the Geek has thin bezels on all sides.
