The Ultraboost 22 had large cutouts in its strobel lasting in the heel and the forefoot which made it feel softer.Most of the Ultraboost Light’s cushioning is situated in the heel so it’s a shoe that’s more suited to heel strikers. It feels a lot softer and more cushioned when you land on the heel
Adidas Supernova 3 - The Supernova has a balanced mix of the Bounce and Boost cushioning. By combining these two types of foam, you experience both comfort and energy return with every step. This combination of foams makes for an ideal shoe for both short and long distances.
Adidas Solarboost 5 - The shoe has the Light Boost foam. The foam is known for its light weight due to the unique molecular design. This design consists of hundreds of Boost capsules that are full of energy and provide extra comfort and the ultimate cushioning. The capsules together provide a boost with every step you take during your run. An additional advantage is that the foam is very resistant to temperature changes. Whatever the weather, you are ready to run, partly because of this foam. By using the LEP 2.0 system (Linear Energy Push), the mid- and forefoot are slightly stiffer, so that you use less energy per step and push off with more power. Thanks to the Control platform made of EVA material, the ankle gets even more support. This is ideal for long runs where you sometimes need a little more support due to fatigue.

In contrast, the Ultraboost features the Continental Rubber Outsole which provides 30% more traction than other outsoles.

Adidas Ultraboost Light 23 - The Ultraboost Light fits true to size although if you prefer a snug fit, you can go down a half size because the Primeknit is stretchy so it will conform to your feet. It has a narrow fit so I don’t recommend it for wide feet. The overall construction of the sneakers plays a big role here. The Ultraboost with the midfoot cage with the aligned heel counter makes the fitting relatively tighter to that of the Pureboost.
Adidas Supernova 3 - The Adidas Supernova has a lace-up closure system and a molded EVA insole that provides a snug fit. Like with the adidas energy boost and almost all of the adidas line, adidas Supernova fit narrow. The adidas Supernova is seamless so if you have wider feet, then it will stretch to fit your foot.
