Review: The shade of 80 Chili Tunique is orange-brown with red undertones, like the colour of chili. This shade is one of the best sellers of YSL Rouge Volupté Shine. It has just a beautiful texture, super light on the lips while still adding moisture. The texture is rich, buttery, hydrating. The finish is shiny and translucent. You can wear it sheer or opaque and achieve so many different looks. 

This color is subtle enough to use it for daily uses. It shows up well without being too opaque and bold. And I love how it make my lips soft after use! It's the perfect vibrant red color for the spring and summertime. As for durability, you would have to reapply it just because it will transfer onto what you are eating or drinking.

2. YSL Rouge Volupté Shine 155 Burgundy Bodysuit

Review:  YSL Rouge Volupté Shine Lipstick is a balm-like textured lipstick. #155 Burgundy Bodysuit is a beautiful burgundy color. It has just the right amount of shine.The sheerness makes it feel fun and more forgiving than an opaque formula. It smells like mango chili lollipops. 

It has great shade range and pigmentation. It can keep your lips hydrated and doesn't get on your teeth. This lipstick is medium coverage but you can build it up for more pigment or build it down and it looks just as great!

The only con is having to reapply throughout the day so if you're going out to dinner just be ready. It's a little darker and more red than what I'd usually go for, so I personally only use it for a night out.

3. YSL Rouge Volupté Shine 131 Chili Morocco - deep chili red

Review: YSL Rouge Volupté Shine 131 Chili Morocco is a deep red as a ripped chili pepper. It looks so so exotic.  From the photo it would be a deeper red, but it's a red with orange undertones when actually applied,  which actually so much more pretty in person.  It does on sheer, but you can layer it for a more vibrant color. This shade of colour would compliment any skin tone. 

It is very soft and creamy, with a glossy finish. This formula is nourishing and moisturizing for lips and looks velvet like rose petals. It's so lightweight and effortless to apply. 

 It actually leaves my lips feeling nourished and it does wear off after about four hours of regular life (eating, drinking etc),  and leaves behind a nice orange-y stain on the lips.

4. YSL Rouge Volupté Shine 44 Nude Lavalliere - pinkish brown

Review:  Shade #44 Nude Lavalliere is a pinky brown nude color with a natural sheen which would look flattering on fair to medium skin tones.The formula is amazing, it glides on so smoothly, and has a nice scent. 

It glides on effortlessly, delivering a sheer-to-medium coverage on the lips. It's quite buildable in one swipe and will give a slight wash of colour.  It has a really pretty finish that looks great. It is much lighter than the swatches show.   

While you love bright or "funky" lipsticks, a lot of the times you also need to wear a more subtle/nude shade and this is it. It's the perfect shade for that "your lips but better" look. This shade wore well for three and a half hours and was hydrating over time.

5. YSL Rouge Volupté Shine 130 Burnt Suede - burnt rosewood

Review: #130 Burnt Suede is a muted, dusty coral with moderate, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. The color Burnt Suede is so pretty. It's not too orangey that makes me think of punch, like party fruit punch. This color really compliments fair and medium skin tone and brightens your face. It gets noticed but is not over the top. You could see wearing this as a daily shade or out to a fancier occasion. 

It has semi-sheer color coverage, which was somewhat buildable to medium coverage. The texture was smooth, lightweight, and balm-like, which meant it had a lot of slip but was quite comfortable and high-shine in its finish. 

This is not a colorfast product though. It wore well for four and a half hours and felt hydrating over time.

6. YSL Rouge Volupté Shine 83 Rouge Cape - blue rose

Review:  #83 Rouge Cape is a medium-dark red with neutral-to-warm undertones and a lightly glossy, cream-like finish. It had buildable pigmentation from medium to semi-opaque, which applied smoothly and evenly across lips.

The color pops but looks and feels natural. It's different from burgundy. It has a drop of blue in red as the product description says. Unexpectedly pigmented and bright. It's great to use this color in autum and winter.

The color doesn't stay on your lips for a long time, especially when you eat, you'll have to reapply. This shade stayed on well for five hours and left a faint stain behind, while the formula felt hydrating over time.

Review:  #88 Rose Nu is a medium pink with warm undertones and a natural sheen on lips. The lipstick yielded medium color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly. It feels lightweight and is comfortable to apply.

It's perfect for a natural look for everyday and look good with almost any eye and cheek combo. It will be perfect for the spring and summer because they are so comfortable to wear, give just enough color.

Your lips will look much fuller with these lipsticks due to their nourishing and hydrating qualities. It really help to condition the lips which also minimizes the look of fine lines.  It lasted well for four hours and was hydrating over time.

8. YSL Rouge Volupté Shine 150 Nude Lingerie

Review:  #150 Nude Lingerie is a pop of peachy-coral with warmer undertones and a glossy, cream finish. You won't find a better sheer nude lip than this. The color just gives your lips that little bit of oomph. 

It had semi-sheer to medium color coverage, near to how it was marketed. The formula is so smooth and non streaky. It has more shine than most of the YSL Rouge Voluptes, which did translate into a more slippery, very balm-like feel that melted quickly against my lips.

The downside is that it is not long-lasting. It wears well for 3 hours but was lightly moisturizing over time. You will need to re-apply often as any other lip balm.
