The AirPods Pro is, without a doubt, the best earbuds that Apple has ever made. It is a welcome upgrade of the Apple AirPods 2 Truly Wireless 2019.  Featuring ANC,  the H1 chipset, changeable ear tips, longer battery life, and easier-to-use touch control, it certainly strives to earn its Pro name.

AirPods Pro is the only in-ear headphones with Active Noise Cancellation that continuously adapts to the geometry of your ear and the fit of the ear tips, blocking out the world so you can focus on what you're listening to. An outward-facing microphone detects external sound. It is great for sports. While it doesn't have stable fins, it shouldn't fall out of your ears during a run or workout. It is also small, lightweight, and has an IPX4 rating for water resistance. Overall, The AirPods Pro is the best wireless earbuds to buy if you want noise canceling without wearing bulky cans.

The Powerbeats Pro is a pricey, premium earbuds that deliver excellent sound and seamless iPhone integration. It is versatile for a wide variety of music genres. This earbud is designed for physical activity.  It is very stable and breathable, thanks to its ear-hook design and relatively compact in-ear fit. The only regret is that it lacks noise reduction.

That said, however,  it is Apple’s best workout earbuds to date thanks to small additions like the ear hooks, pressure-reducing micro-laser barometric venting hole, its long battery life, superior sound quality, and a fit that's both comfortable enough to wear for long periods. If you're looking for a pair of earbuds that you can wear to the gym, on the trail, on the train, or at work, the Powerbeats Pro is worth the money.

The Bose SoundSport Free is an excellent-sounding pair of wireless headphones. With its well-balanced sound profile, it will be great for most genres of audio. Bose digital signal processing combines with volume-optimized EQ and a proprietary acoustic design to make your music sound clear, full and balanced at any volume. Off a single charge, the earbuds can play for up to five hours—long enough to power you through almost any workout.

The Bose SoundSport Free only has weak noise isolation which won't be ideal for the loud environments involved in commuting. It is better suited for outdoor runners who want to stay alert to their surroundings. Although Bose's SoundSport Free may not be perfect, it is also one of the best totally wireless earphones.

The Bottom Line

Airpods Pro vs. Beats Powerbeats Pro vs. Bose Soundsport Free: Which is The Best Earbuds?
Airpods Pro, Beats Powerbeats Pro and Bose Soundsport Free are all solid-performing earbuds with plenty of features to satisfy mobile users.

The Beats Powerbeats Pro Truly Wireless has better sound reproduction than the Apple AirPods Pro Truly Wireless. The Beats also has an easier-to-use control scheme, and its ear-hook design is more stable for sports. In addition, It has noticeably better battery life on a single charge and has a better wireless range.

The Airpods Pro has an excellent ANC feature that blocks ambient noise, and its case is noticeably smaller and more portable.

The Beats Powerbeats ProTruly Wireless offers great sports features and even the best sound quality. But Beats Powerbeats Pro is an earbud design, and isn't quite closed-backs, which means it barely isolates against ambient noise. But for outdoor runners, this is good for them to monitor their surroundings at any time.
