The New “Joyride” Technology Utilizing Thousands of TPE Beads Brings New Thinking to Impact Protection

Nike unveils new Joyride technology to make running easy. The New Joyride Run Flyknit features tiny beads sit alongside traditional cushions like Nike's Air soles and the Adidas Ultraboost. The visible and colorful little beads allow the bottom of the shoes to be packed out, and help ease the impact on the runners' feet.

The Joyride Run Flyknit comes equipped with a White, flexible, and form-fitting woven upper with Bright Mango and Racer Blue placed on the tongue tab, the midsole, and the outsole. The midsole and outsole stuffed full of two kinds of cushioning rounds up the design with an ultimate combo of sporting style and outstanding comfort.

Joyride is the result of intense, iterative trialing. One hundred and fifty materials were tested before landing on a TPE (a copolymer of plastic and rubber) for the beads. Get it here first, the only Nike Joyride that creates a dynamic footbed and feels personalized to you!
