Best Instant Ramen Brands That You Can Buy

When you are craving instant ramen, there are some best brands that you should take into account.

  • Nongshim:

Nongshim: Nongshim is a Korean company that specializes in Korean-style instant noodles, usually with some spices. Also known as “Shin ramen,” this iconic product is currently Amazon’s #1 best seller in packaged noodle soups – and rightfully so. The deliciousness lurks in the liquid, perhaps the most complex of them all thanks to generous amounts of vegetables and bone broth. In addition, Nongshim instant ramen is fancied because it has no added MSG as well as other harmful ingredients.

  • Samyang:

When it comes to Samyang Foods from South Korea, consumers are most familiar with the super spicy chicken-flavored noodles nicknamed "Samyang Fire Noodles." This ramen might look familiar if you watch YouTubers on the regular. Samyang’s HOT Chicken Flavor ramen is no hyperbole – the extremely spicy instant noodles gave rise to the “fire noodle challenge,” popular especially in South Korea. One warning, however: the ramen is not for the faint of heart. It’s spicy as heck!

  • MAMA:

MAMA brand ramen is my go-to replacement instant ramen for Maruchan or Top Ramen. The instant stuff from Mama is nice for the price and the solid broth bases can be doctored up with your own custom add-ons like carrots, edamame, bok choy, radishes, or a hard-boiled egg. Look for the intriguing flavors like shrimp Tom Yum, which has the ideal amount of fiery spiciness. MAMA is a Thai President Foods brand, based in Bangkok, Thailand.

  • Nissin RAOH:

If you love authentic Japanese-style ramen, you should go for this brand. Nissin RAOH (means “king of ramen” in Japanese) is a best-selling, premium instant noodle brand in Japan. Countless noodle connoisseurs love RAOH’s authentic, savory Japanese soup and triple-layered, non-fried noodles.

  • Sapporo Ichiban:

Sapporo Ichiban is a brand of instant noodles (primarily ramen) manufactured by Sanyo Foods of Japan. Sapporo Ichiban noodles are also manufactured in Garden Grove, California for the United States and North American market. The best one is Sapporo Ichiban Original Soup which is a combination of soy sauce and chicken broth that is infused with the aroma of sweet vegetables, garlic and a hint of ginger. The soup married with the bouncy texture of our noodles balances out to make one very satiating meal.

  • Paldo:

Paldo is the global food company of love and trust, started in 1983 with Instant noodle business, pioneering the era of high quality instant noodle. Those who like to eat Korean spicy noodles should not miss the Paldo brand. His Hot & Spicy Noodles are also very spicy.

This is a package of instant noodles. This curry is incredibly spicy. Please do not eat it if you are under the age of 18.

Not only is it spicy, but it's also a "insist curry" that sticks to its material. This curry was developed for "People Who Like the World's Best Spicy Taste."

When it was launched, it used to claim to be the hottest ramen on the planet, rivalling even Samyang’s 2x Spicy Fire Ramen and Mamee’s Daebak Ghost Pepper Spicy Chicken Noodles.

However, I personally think that it is not as spicy as the others. Its spiciness is 14,444 SUH, which is more suitable for ordinary people who love spicy food.

The most attractive thing is that the packaging is very interesting and the taste is okay. However it is not very tasty. Although it is not plain, there are still many shortcomings.

It costs more than $5 per pack, and it doesn’t even have an oil pack, just a large pack of powder. Samyang 2X Spicy is much cheaper than this, has a better flavor, comes with oil pack, and has a similar spiciness.

Yummy, Hot enough! Perfect to eat as a snack and works just as good as a base and mix in vegetables and chicken or even pork or beef. Definitely a purchase for any heat enthusiasts! The flavour of the noodles themselves are fantastic, the heat is just a big positive.

With a Scoville rating of about 10,000 units, this Samyang flavor not only became a viral internet challenge, but is also one of the spiciest instant noodles on the market.

Spicy-lover watch out...this Samyang Hot Chicken 2X Spicy Ramen is going to be an explosion in your mouth. It is so spicy that you feel like you are breathing out fire and your tongue is no longer in existence. Your nose will run like there is no tomorrow and your body will pour sweat from every single pore...but the taste is awesome if you can take the heat.

These extremly HOT noodles aren't called Volcano because they are moderately hot. No, these instant noodles are mouthburning hot! Not suited for those with a weak stomage.
Although there’s no official scoville rating for this ramen, it’s supposed to be in between the Samyang original hot chicken ramen and the 2x spicy flavor.
But it’s definitely not comparable to the spice in Samyang’s original. It didn’t make me feel like the chicken on the packaging nor did it feel like I was anywhere close to a volcano.
These in my honest opinion are just as nice! They still offer that insane heat intensity, don't think they are as hot as the Samyang 2 X Spicy ones but they are very very close to it and the actual taste is pretty much the same with that nice subtle sweet after taste. All in all very similar!

Nong Shim instant ramen cup noodles are a Korean variety of noodle flavoured with spicy chilli. This large serving of instant ramen noodles contains plenty of dried ramen and a sachet of hot and spicy Korean chilli sauce to make the soup.  It's got a bold, hot flavor, but the dried toppings included—a mix of mushrooms, beef, and carrots—still come through clearly.

Since its development in October 1986, Shin Ramyun noodles has been steadily loved until now. Since 1994, Nong Shim America, Inc., has aggressively brought these exciting tastes of Korea to North America.
