"Must See" Animal Exhibits

Dolphin Cove is one of the largest interactive dolphin pools in the world, where you can see dolphins play and jump above the water, or see them gracefully swim in the underwater viewing area. You can get an opportunity to feed and pet them.

Manta Aquarium features ten aquariums inhabited by more than 3,000 marine animals, including different species of rays and a giant Pacific octopus.

Explore the habitat of Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin®, where you can see five species of penguins.  You'll get to watch them waddle about on land or glide effortlessly through the chilly water.

Manatee Rehabilitation Area: SeaWorld is not just an exciting park for visitors; it's also a haven for sick and injured sea creatures. Inside its Rescue Center, orphaned or otherwise disabled marine animals are nursed back to health—including manatees. You'll learn more about this gentle creature's plight in the wild and how you can help make a difference.

At Shark Encounter, experience a rare, up-close look at prehistoric predators whose ancestors dominated the sea over 450 million years ago—long before even dinosaurs walked the earth.

TurtleTrek is more than a simple viewing area. The pavilion includes a 360-degree, 3D theater that tells the story of sea turtles' journey from the beach to the sea and back again. From there, walk through several interactive exhibits, including underwater viewing of sea turtle and manatee habitats.

Most Popular Shows & Presentations

One Ocean takes place in Shamu Stadium, which is named after the first orca that performed at SeaWorld San Diego. In this watery stadium, several of the large black-and-white killer whales and their trainers show off a variety of stunts.

Dolphin Days features several Atlantic bottlenose dolphins performing high-flying jumps, and other stunts, along with their trainers.  The front of the dolphin pool is see-through, so the audience can also see the dolphins’ antics underwater, too.

Sea Lion High: A New Class: Go to the head of the class in SeaWorld's fresh new take on a day at Sea Lion High. Those lovable sea lion stars, Clyde and Seamore, are back in school and this semester the SeaWorld Mime is ready to join the fun. From the antics of Opie Otter to the splash-tastic water effects, Sea Lion High is once again your SeaWorld destination for laughs.

Pets Ahoy features pets that were all been recovered from pet rescue facilities around Florida. The show includes cats, rats, a pig, ducks, doves and dogs performing on stage and even above the audience.

Best Rides & Roller Coasters

Named after fastest species of shark, Mako is a 200-foot, 70-mph B&M coaster that runs over more than 4,000 feet of track.  It boasts a number of airtime hills, as well as a unique new feature dubbed the "Hammerhead turn" (a tight U-turn to the right).

Kraken is a floorless model coasters features a 144-foot drop, as well as two loops, a dive loop, a zero-G roll, a cobra roll and a corkscrew. Themed to ancient, mythological underwater beast of legend, this 150 foot tall coaster with seven inversions dives in and out of cracks in the Earth, past waterfalls, and through tunnels, splashing bystanders with plumes of spray.

Themed as a "flying ray," Manta is a 140-foot-tall Bolliger & Mabillard Flying Coaster that runs on 3,359 feet of track, reaching a top speed of 56 mph while going through four inversions, including an 98-foot-tall pretzel loop. While you are waiting to board, you'll walk through an aquarium with floor-to-ceiling underwater viewing, filled with stingrays, tropical fishes, an octopus, live coral, and much more.

Journey to Atlantis debuted in 1998, as SeaWorld's first thrill ride. This exciting flume ride/roller coaster hybrid treats you to more than its share of surprises as you explore dark, watery passageways through the sunken city before being flung from its gates down a thrilling plunge into the waters below.

The 400 foot tall Skytower at SeaWorld offers unparalleled, seabird-style views of Orlando with a retro-style ascent to the pinnacle of the structure behind glass-paned windows.
