What Does It Do?

Bioderma is the inventor of micellar water and Sensibio H2O is the #1 Micellar Water in Europe.

This iconic all-in-one dermatological makeup removing and cleansing water effortlessly removes makeup, creams and dirt, while respecting sensitive skin and eyes. Made up of micelles with excellent cleansing and makeup removing properties, Bioderma's Sensibio H2O Micellar Water cleanses the face in the morning and evening, thus helps to prevent pollutants likely to exacerbate skin sensitivity from penetrating the skin. The micellar technology developed by Laboratoire BIODERMA is inspired by the cellular lipids found in the skin. In perfect harmony with the skin, it preserves the natural protective film and oils.

Formulated with a physiological pH of around 5.5, Sensibio H2O respects the skin's biological balance, which is essential to maintain healthy-looking skin.

Key Ingredients:

A high-performing formula: Micellar water gets its name because it contains "micelles," which are small particles that have the ability to trap impurities like dirt and makeup while maintaining your skin's natural protective film. This particular micellar water is also formulated with highly purified pharmaceutical-grade water to help your skin keep its healthy glow.

Best for: All skin types, even the most sensitive skin.

Texture & Fragrance: It's a micellar water, so it looks and feels like you'd expect water to look and feel. In other words, the texture is watery and runny. You do need a cotton pad to use it. It's fragrance-free. That's a fantastic choice. This micellar water is formulated especially for sensitive skin, so Bioderma made the right call by leaving it out.

Review: There are plenty of great options for micellar waters out there (and at varying prices), but you'd be hard-pressed to find a list of the best without running into Bioderma. The micelles in Sensibio H2O are unique and very similar to the skin's natural composition. It uses an "optimal dosage of ingredients that are already present in your body" to respect the skin's own biology while mimicking its functions.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O feels noticeably soft and silky. Plus, it's fragrance-free, so suitable for everyone, even the most sensitive of skin that tends to react badly to anything. If your skin tends to react poorly to new cleansers or is just generally red and irritated, this is the micellar water for you.

ProsCons
Lightweight, fast-absorbing textureBioderma is not cruelty-free
Fragrance-freeMicellar waters don't cleanse skin as well as traditional cleansers do
Gentle, non-irritating
Cleanses skin and removes dirt and light makeup
Practical, travel-friendly packaging

What Does It Do?

Sebium H2O is the 1st specific make-up removing micellar water for combination or oily skin that mimics the natural composition of the skin for perfect make-up removal and total respect for even the most sensitive skin.

The unique formulation does not require rinsing - just wipe the micellar water all over the face and neck to instantly remove makeup and impurities, while leaving your skin purified, smooth, and comfortable. The powerful cleanser does not require harsh rubbing that can cause issues and it does not strip your skin of its own moisture. Purified, thoroughly cleansed skin in seconds without the need to rinse off!

Key Ingredients:

Thanks to the Fluidactiv patented sebo-correcting complex, it biologically regulates sebum quality to keep the pores from becoming clogged and clear up the skin.

Enriched with purifying agents, zinc gluconate and copper sulphate, Sebium H2O purifies the skin and limits sebaceous secretion.

Best for: Combination or oily skin and acne-prone skin, even the most sensitive skin.

Texture & Fragrance: Unlike Bioderma Sensibio H2O Solution Micellaire which is completely transparent in color, this Sebium range is more aqua colored but completely see through. It's not completely fragrance free compared to the former. It has a refreshing scent. Additionally, the Sebium H2O solution contains ingredients that help to regulate sebum production, minimizing the appearance of pores.

Review: The Bioderma Sebium H2O Micellar Solution is a good product and is worth trying out, especially if you have oily or combination skin. It is gentle, non-irritating, and does what it claims to do. It is also reasonably priced. So, if you are looking for a micellar solution, recommend this one a try.

The only downside is that it can be a bit drying, so if you have dry skin, recommend using the version for dry skin instead.

ProsCons
Gently cleanses the skinMay not suitable for dry skin
Effectively removes makeup and impurities from face
Purifies and limits sebum secretion
Respects and preserves skin natural barrier
Non-comedogenic & No-rinse formula

Hydrabio H2O uses micelles, which are molecules with fatty acid esters that capture impurities while respecting the balance of your skin. Hydrabio H2O embraces your skin, delivering tolerance and comfort without compromising on its cleansing power. First and only cleansing, makeup removing and moisturizing micellar solution to use the exclusive Aquagenium formula, Hydrabio H2O targets skin's natural hydration.

The natural D.A.F. complex contributes to enhance your skin's tolerance, leaving it softer, more comfortable and more radiant.

Best for: Dry skin, even the most sensitive skin.

Texture & Fragrance: Just like the other micellar water, these one also have watery consistency, only it has fragrance. But don't worry, as the smell doesn't disturbing at all! In fact it smells nice and fresh.

Review: Bioderma Hydrabio H2O Micellar Water is similar to its Sensibio H2O cousin, only more hydrating. Just like Sensibio, it cleanses skin and removes makeup (as long as it isn't waterproof) well.

But, it leaves the skin that bit more hydrated after cleansing than Sensibio. It's great to use on winter days when you need a quick cleanse that removes impurites without drying out skin.

ProsCons
Gently cleanses skin from impurities, fine particles and pollutionIt's kinda bitter
Cleanse makeup so well
Instantly boosts hydration and visible radiance
Paraben-free, Alcohol-free
Very good tolerance, Non-comedogenic

What Does It Do?

ABCDerm H2O is an ultra-gentle non-rinse micellar water that soothes and preserves the natural pH balance of babies and children's skin. It gently yet effectively cleanses and removes dirt & impurities from face, eyes, hands, legs, skin folds and buttocks. Formulated without paraben and alcohol.

ABCDerm H20 is developed in accordance with the ABCDerm high-safety and high-tolerance formulation charter. At the forefront of innovation, BIODERMA is a pioneer in micellar solutions.

ABCDerm H2O is the 1st and only dermatological micellar water perfectly compatible with the skin: its fatty acid esters, the constituent elements of micelles, are similar to the phospholipids of the skin cell membranes?and naturally help rebuild the skin's hydrolipidic film.

Key Ingredients:

NAOS Research invented no-rinse cleansing and make-up removing micellar water. Micelles, whose composition is inspired by the skin's lipids, are invisible cleansing micro-droplets. They have the ability to capture impurities while preserving the skin's natural protective film.

Best for: All skin types, even the baby.

Texture & Fragrance: It could do double duty, as makeup remover for you as well as sponge bath solution the baby. It doesn't seem to remove makeup as well as the other micellar waters. But why does it have to be so heavily scented? It's a nice smell, but just strong. And it's not a gentle smell like you'd normally associate with a baby product. It's more perfumey.

Review: This is the most gentle and best smelling miceller water. No rinse is necessary and it does not leave a sticky residue.

It does work fine to freshen up the baby in-between baths. It's great for wiping down the spots that get grimy and rashy from drool and spit up, like the neck folds. The jug is huge, even with frequent use it will last a long time. Great bang for your buck.

ProsCons
Gently cleanses skin from impurities, fine particles and pollutionIt has fragrance
Effectively removes makeup from face and eyes
Instantly soothes the skin
Paraben-free, Alcohol-free
