Silk'n Titan vs. NEWA vs. NuFACE Trinity: Which One Wins the Anti-Aging Device Showdown?

Silk'n Titan vs. NEWA vs. NuFACE Trinity: Which One Wins the Anti-Aging Device Showdown?

Skin laxity is a cosmetic concern that could negatively affect someone’s appearance. Loose skin, wrinkles, and fine lines can give off one’s era or create you look older than they are. While incorporating antiaging skincare products into your wrinkle-fighting routine may help improve the firmness of your skin, these formulas do not compare to the skin-sculpting results of the best skin-tightening devices. Unlike moisturizers, serums and eye creams that typically cater to the first layer of the skin, these home-use skin tightening machines stimulate cell renewal by penetrating deep into the skin, repairing damaged tissue and encouraging collagen and elastin production for a firmer, smoother and more contoured-looking complexion. The best-selling home skin tightening machines that are currently on the market are Silk'n Titan, NEWA, and NuFACE Trinity. But which one is the best? In order for you to buy an anti-aging device that suits you, here we collected the differences, pros & cons between Silk'n Titan, NEWA, and NuFACE Trinity. Let's check out.

1. Silk'n Titan

Silk'n Titan (price for $215.20) employs the combination of three technology to tighten the skin of their face. It utilizes radiofrequency, which can be hugely popular for decades, a red LED, which generates new elastin and collagen and it also has infrared lighting.

What is really important for this particular face apparatus is the warmth. As you are working with the apparatus, you are feeling that the skin gets warmer and warmer and you want to make circular motions over the region that you’re working on.

What that warmth does is it heats the elastin and collagen fibers, which can be just beneath the top layer of the epidermis, and that warmth not only provides you a fantastic skin but in addition, it forces them into fixing themselves.

You have got plenty of active activity just under the top layer of the epidermis, meaning that you are getting new elastin and collagen. The skin is a type of restoring itself. All that action is quite good not only for an immediate lift, however as you keep on using the device with time, but you are also enhancing the health of the skin.

What We Like

This device definitely has its pros. The device paired with the Hyaluronic Slider Gel adds hydration back into the skin to create a more flawless appearance.

I felt that immediately after the treatment my skin looks completely fine-line and wrinkle-free, and it had this really healthy vibrancy to it. In addition, I did feel like it truly tightened the skin along my jawline.

I haven’t struggled with sagging or loose skin before, so I didn’t feel like my skin on my face looked tighter, but I did find that it felt tighter (like when you do a clay mask sort of thing) and I did feel that my jawline looked tauter.

What We Don't Like

1. Expensive

The first being the cost. This price point would be worthwhile for those with mature skin who are noticing their skin is sagging since this isn’t something you should have to replace again, or very often. But, for those looking for a preventative aging treatment, I would say invest instead in the Silk’n Facefx which costs $150.00. The Silk’n Titan is designed to tighten the skin, so while it does reduce the look of wrinkles, that’s not it’s main purpose.

2. Time-Consuming

The second con is the amount of time you need to spend doing the treatment each week. You need to use this device 15 minutes on each section of your face, which totals to about 1 full hour.

How to Use

  • Remove all jewelry.

  • Press the start button to turn on the device. The level 1 energy level indicator light will go on.

  • For your first treatment, start at energy level 1 for a few minutes, then set an energy level that is comfortable for the area you wish to treat. For future treatments, you can use an energy level that is comfortable for the area you wish to treat.

  • Next, spread a thin layer of Silk'n Slider Gel over the area. Always apply Slider Gel (or another clear, water-based gel) before you put the device on your skin.

  • Press the treatment surface firmly against your skin. You will feel a mild sensation of warmth. Move the device in gentle, massage-like linear motions on the area you wish to treat. Progress slowly and carefully. Work each treatment area for 10 to 15 minutes. Make sure the treatment surface is in good contact with your skin.

  • Immediately after the treatment, wash your face to remove any gel, then apply facial lotion or a mask.

That is to say, skin care professionals in spas and medical offices are also using NuFace facial toning devices as they deliver clinically proven and highly visible results. To top it off, all NuFace devices are FDA-cleared.

NuFACE Trinity (price for $339) helps improve facial contour, tone, and the look of fine lines and wrinkles. It’s considered by many users and beauticians to be the top microcurrent home treatment tool over the last 20 years.

The Trinity Device with microcurrents that improve the look of the face’s contour, tone, and fine lines and wrinkles in as little as five minutes a day.

The device is easy to use whether or not you have a tutorial, thanks to the comprehensive directions and available online videos, and has multiple interchangeable accessories for targeting different things (like red light therapy and a pronged attachment for smoothing smile lines and eye wrinkles).

What We Like

1. NuFace is an affordable alternative to in-office microcurrent treatments.

2. There’s no downtime or recovery, and you can use it at home.

3. The treatment is quick (five minutes) and painless.

4. The device uses low-voltage micro-electric currents that are considered to be totally safe.

What We Don't Like

1. It’s a daily commitment for at least the first two months.

2. Facial muscles tend to recover quickly from electrical stimulation, so any results will be short-lived.

3. The large metal prongs can make it difficult to target smaller areas of the face.

4. NuFace can’t be used on certain areas, such as nasolabial folds or upper eyelids.

How to Use

  • Cleanse skin with an oil-free cleanser and apply NuFACE Gel Primer.

  • Using medium pressure along the natural contours of the face and light pressure on the neck, glide the Trinity in an upward motion. Target forehead, eyebrows, cheeks, jawline, and neck.

  • Massage any excess NuFACE Gel Primer into your skin for added skincare benefits.

  • For the first 60 days, use five days per week. After 60 days, use two to three days per week to maintain results.

  • Use only with NuFACE Gel Primer.
