Six Flags St. Louis Rides and Roller Coasters List

Six Flags St. Louis is the Coaster Capital of Missouri with 9 heart-pounding roller coasters including 3 wooden and 6 steel, and combined they feature over 22,720 feet of roller coaster track. The following roller coasters and thrill rides are highly recommend.

American Thunder is one of a new breed of wooden coasters that have been installed at theme parks across the US in recent years. It features an 80' first drop at a 90° left turn angle, and a top speed of 50 MPH. It utilizes two 24-passenger Millennium Flyer trains to traverse a relatively short, tight course (2,700'). Along the way, riders will be treated to sixteen hills and multiple high banked turns at up to 67° angles.

Batman: The Ride is a steel inverted coaster. on this roller coaster riders are seated in trains that are suspended from an overhead tubular steel track. Batman The Ride flies through five inversions along the 2,694-foot long course, while reaching speeds of nearly 50 miles-per-hour.

The Boss is a wooden creation that features a lengthy circuit that runs for over 5,000 feet. Standing 122 ft. tall, this coaster features a 150 ft. double down first drop and three more like it throughout the course. Hitting speeds of over 66 mph, The Boss is one of the fastest wooden coasters in the world.

Pandemonium was formerly known as Tony Hawk's Big Spin. This spinning twister designed by Gerstlauer features individual four-passenger cars that spin uncontrolled throughout the circuit.  The ride reaches heights of 53 ft and speeds of 31 mph, making it a good coaster choice for the entire family.

Mr Freeze: Reverse Blast is a looping, launched shuttle coaster. The ride catapults guests backwards from 0 to 70 mph in 3.8 seconds through a 190' tunnel and up into a 180 degree inversion.  Mr. Freeze then inverts in a giant "Top Hat" before climbing a 20-story vertical spike, where the train reverses directions to repeat the course while traveling backward.

Screamin' Eagle is a sprawling wooden roller coaster that at one time it held the Guinness World Records for tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster. Riders hits a top speed of 62 miles per hour at the base of its 92-foot first drop.

Fireball is a compact looping – reversing "roller coaster"/flat ride. Riding back to back in unique “face-off” seating, guests will soar back and forth, pendulum style, as they build up speed to propel them head over heels through a series of 360° revolutions. Mid-way riders will stop upside down for some insane, inverted hang time before reversing directions.

SUPERGIRL Sky Flyer is new for 2019. Drawing on SUPERGIRL’s powers of stamina and strength, thrill seekers spin and tilt, all while suspended from the whirling wheel of justice. Riders are raised up by a giant arm, feet dangling, and then launched into a high-speed spin…round and round…higher and higher.

Superman: Tower of Power is a freefall drop tower manufactured by Intamin that stands at some 227-feet-tall. Guests are carreid to the top of the tower, before plunging back down to the ground below at speeds of up 62 miles per hour.

With motorcycle-style seats facing outward, Spinsanity rotates guests in a clockwise and counter-clockwise formation. The colorful half-pipe track stands at 5-stories tall.  You’ll soar as the giant disk rotates at 14 revolutions per minute!

SkyScreamer is a 236 foot tall Funtime Star Flyer attraction.  The ride holds pairs of guests on seats extended from a tower on chains. Once the ride starts spinning, riders move in a 98 ft. wide circle at 43 miles per hour, over 200 ft. above the ground.

Besides these thrill rides and roll coasters that are aimed primarily at teens and young adults.  a variety of off-the-shelf kids rides are packed into the Bugs Bunny National Park area.

Bugs Bunny Ranger Pilots sees young riders boarding mock aeroplanes, which rotate around a central column.

Foghorn Leghorn National Park Railway is a small miniature train ride similar to those found at the local shopping mall.

In Hurricane Harbor, young children can spend an afternoon playing on the pirate ship or splashing in Hook's Lagoon.

Teens can brave several waterslides, including the Bonzai Pipeline, Tornado and Speed Slides.

For family fun, float along the relaxing Gulley Washer Creek, and for adventure take a trip in a four-person raft on the Big Kahuna.
