What is cash back?
When you click our link to a store's website, we earn a sales commission from that store on everything you purchase. We pass the majority of this commission back to you as Cash Back. For example, if you buy from a store with 10% cash back and spend $100, we'll add $10 cash back to your Extrabux account within 1-7 days.

Why doesn't my cash back show up after I complete my purchase?
Even though your cash back doesn't appear immediately, don't worry; you are still earning cash back. It typically takes 1-4 days for your cash back to appear in your Extrabux account. Some stores, however, can take as long as 20 days to notify us of your purchase. As soon as the store notifies us, Extrabux will email you to let you know that you have earned cash back. If it has been longer than 7 days and your cash back hasn't posted, please Contact Us with subject: "Where is My Cash Back?"

Do I have to visit Extrabux every time before I shop to earn cash back?

What's the difference between Pending, Available, Processing, and Paid cash back?
Pending cash back are your earnings that cannot yet be withdrawn because the return time (90 days) on those purchases has not yet passed. Once the 90 day return time passes, the cash back for those purchases becomes Available and cash back can be withdrawn ($10 Available minimum). After you choose to receive a cash back payment, the cash back is Processing until it is Paid (usually within 5 business days).

Why does one of my purchases have a status of "Pending and unconfirmed"?
Although the store has not yet confirmed that they have a record of you clicking through Extrabux and then making that purchase, we've gone ahead and temporarily added its amount of Cash Back to the total "Cash Pending" amount in your account. We're now trying to convince the store that you used Extrabux. If we're successful, everything will then proceed as usual. Otherwise, we'll then remove this temporary cash back adjustment.

How long does it take for cash back to become Available?
Your cash back earnings will post to your account 1-7 days after your purchase, but the cash back for the purchase will not be Available for payment until 90 days after the purchase. After 90 days, your cash back becomes Available and you can receive a payment. We require 90 days because most stores take up to 90 days to report returns and order cancellations.

How do I receive my cash back payments?
Once you have earned at least $10 Available cash back and made at least one $5 confirmed purchase, you can receive a cash back payment. To request a payment, log in to your Extrabux account and click the "Request Payment" button. You can receive cash back payments via credit card, PayPal, or a check in the mail. We also give you the option of donating your cash back to a charity. Payments are typically sent within 5 business days.  Credit card payments can take another 3-5 business days to appear on your card statement.  PayPal payments can take another 24 hours to appear.

Can I use or buy a gift certificate and still get cash back?
Sometimes. While it's not guaranteed, you can sometimes earn cash back when you buy a gift certificate. In some cases, you can also earn cash back when you use a gift certificate to make the purchase.

Can I use coupons not provided by Extrabux and still get cash back?
Not usually. If you use a coupon not provided by Extrabux, you may not be eligible to earn cash back on the purchase. Even coupon codes you receive in an email or regular mail directly from the store can invalidate your cash back. The stores oftentimes use coupon codes to determine the source of the order. So even if you click through Extrabux, but use a coupon code not found on Extrabux, the store will credit the order to the source of the coupon code and not Extrabux. It's best to check the Extrabux store page to see if there is a similar code available that you can use and still get cash back. If not, we always suggest you find the best deal for you.

Can I earn cash back on Extrabux if I don't live in the United States?
Yes! No matter what country you live in, you can earn cash back. Please keep in mind that Extrabux only mails cash back checks to users with a United States mailing address. If you live outside of the United States, you can still get paid via PayPal, Creditcard or donate your cash back to a charity.

How do I make sure I always earn cash back? (DO's and DON'Ts)
  • DO enable cookies on your browser while you are shopping. Stores use cookies to track your purchase so you can get cash back from Extrabux! Remember, if the store doesn't track your purchase, Extrabux does not receive a sales commission, which means we can't pay the cash back. Some browser extensions that block ads while on the internet, such as Adblock and Adblock Plus, will prevent you from earning cash back.
  • DO click through to the store from Extrabux. Clicking to Extrabux from other websites or typing the store's website directly into your web browser without going through Extrabux will invalidate your cash back. Make sure that you don't click any other links to the store's website after clicking through from Extrabux. If you place an order at a store's website but forgot to click through Extrabux first, your order is not eligible for cash back.
  • DO make sure your shopping cart is empty when you click through to the store from Extrabux. In order to earn cash back, some stores require that your shopping cart be empty when you click from Extrabux to the store's website. Some stores keep track of when you put items in your shopping cart and if you don't do it after you clicked through from Extrabux, it's possible that you won't earn cash back.
  • DON'T use coupons from sources other than Extrabux. Some stores track the codes you use and don't allow cash back if you use a code from somewhere other than Extrabux. This includes codes you receive in an email from the store, on social media sites, on blogs, in postal mailings, etc. DO figure out the best deal for you with all of your options, but know that combining outside coupons with Extrabux cash back usually doesn't work.
  • DON'T delete cookies while you are shopping. We know that some people occasionally delete their browser cookies. Unfortunately, if you happen to delete cookies while in the middle of an Extrabux shopping session, the cash back will not be tracked. Wait until after all of your shopping is complete before you consider deleting cookies.
  • DON'T close the store website while shopping. If you do close the window, you must go back to the Extrabux store page and click through from Extrabux to start a new session.
  • DON'T checkout multiple times at an online store without clicking back through Extrabux. If you want to keep shopping after checking out the first time, you must go back to Extrabux and click back through to the store again. Even if you are ordering the same item at the same store but in a new order, you need to have a new record of clicking through to the store to go with your new order. So, after every checkout, go back to Extrabux to start again and click back to the same store or select a new store.

Is there any software or settings that can keep me from earning cash back?

Security software, such as Kaspersky or other protection software, which can block the tracking cookies Extrabux uses to earn credit for your order. If you are using this type of software you will need to ensure that it is set up to allow cookies from Extrabux and our partner sites. Similarly, if using a firewall such as Zone Alarm, Norton Internet Security or some other such Firewall, then you need to keep the "Ad Blocking" turned off.

Some toolbars can redirect the credit to another affiliate. If you have any toolbars installed you may need to check and see if they are linked to any other shopping rewards or coupon sites.

The use of a browser that does not allow the creation of cookies. Extrabux highly recommends the use of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari. Due to the number of third party browsers available we cannot verify that any outside of the ones mentioned here will work properly with the Extrabux program.

Using a browser's "Private Browsing" feature at any point in the shopping process can render your purchase ineligible for cash back.

Lastly, there are spyware or adware programs which can cause your online shopping to be reported as having come from another company. There are many free detection, removal and protection programs you can download online to protect you from and check for spyware or adware.

Members with the browser extensions AdBlock or Adblock Plus installed (or similar browser extensions or software) may experience issues receiving Cash Back.

You can use a browser that does not have the extension installed and still earn cash back through Extrabux.

How to Earn Cash Back at iHerb (Beta)
Earning cash back at iHerb is a bit different from earning cash back at other Extrabux stores.  But it's still easy!

After you've signed up for Extrabux:

  1. Visit http://www.extrabux.com/stores/iherb. (Don't visit iherb.com directly.)
  2. Click "Start Shopping."
  3. If you don't have an iHerb account, create one (preferably using the same email address that you use with Extrabux).  For future purchases, you can skip this step because you'll already have an iHerb account that was an Extrabux referral*.
  4. Make a purchase.
  5. Forward iHerb's order confirmation email to iherb@extrabux.com**. 

You will later receive an email from Extrabux confirming your cash back!

* To be eligible for cash back, you must not have created your iHerb account until after clicking from Extrabux to iHerb.  (We only get commission for referring new accounts to iHerb.)  Please only create one new iHerb account; after doing this once, you'll be able to get cash back on future iHerb purchases even skipping Step 3.  If you're curious about iHerb's Rewards program, click here.

** When you forward an iHerb order confirmation email to iherb@extrabux.com, you must send it from the same email address that is associated with your Extrabux account.  For this reason, we recommend that you use the same email address to sign up for iHerb as is associated with your Extrabux account. If I already have an iHerb account, can I still get cash back for my iHerb purchases if I click through Extrabux?
Unfortunately, no.  We only receive a commission from iHerb if the person making a purchase on iHerb created his/her iHerb account after having clicked through Extrabux's iHerb page.  (The reason iHerb pays us a commission is because they want to reward sites like us for bringing them new customers.)  Note: if you did create your iHerb account only after having clicked through Extrabux's iHerb page, please don't create additional iHerb accounts; you will be able to receive cash back on your purchases (if you follow the steps).

I didn't receive cash back for my iHerb purchase. Is there anything I can do?
Extrabux's offer of cash back on iHerb purchases is unique and is also experimental (see What is a 'beta' feature?).  We are working hard to make your iHerb cash back experience as smooth as possible.  Unfortunately, if you did not receive cash back after following these steps, it is because there was no way for us to verify that your iHerb purchase was a result of being referred by Extrabux.  Perhaps you created an iHerb account without clicking through Extrabux's iHerb page first, or maybe you didn't forward the iHerb order confirmation properly.  Given the way that Extrabux iHerb cash back works, there unfortunately is no way for us to investigate your purchase and find your cash back for you.

What is a "beta" feature?
At Extrabux, we're constantly trying to improve our users' online shopping experience.  Sometimes we're so excited about a new feature that we want to let users start enjoying it right away, even if it isn't 100% finalized.  We label these features as "beta" to let our users know that they are new and exciting but also may change as we work out the kinks.

Why is my order inquiry rejected?
Major causes of an inquiry rejected are listed as below:

Transaction Referred by Another Affiliate/Publisher

Possible causes
- Use a Web browser that does not support cookie tracking.
- Already had items in your shopping cart when you clicked through from Extrabux.
- Click on other sources to get to the merchant as well as clicking on Extrabux around the time that you place your order.
- Use coupons or promotion codes from sources other than Extrabux. (This includes the codes you receive from merchant emails, social media like blogs or postal mails, etc., then the credit of your order goes to the source of that coupon code).
- Cookies expired. Take too long to place the order after clicking through Extrabux.

Credited to Other Channel

Possible causes
- Click directly through links that provided by merchants.
- Use coupons or promotion codes that are not posted on Extrabux.
- Take too long to place the order after clicking through Extrabux. (Merchants may lose tracking records)

Non-Commissionable Coupon Code Used

Possible causes
- Use coupons or promotion codes from sources other than Extrabux. (This includes the codes you receive from merchant emails, social media like blogs or postal mails, etc., then the credit of your order goes to the source of that coupon code).

Do I need an account to use Extrabux?
In order to receive cash back you must first sign up for an Extrabux account. It just takes a minute, and you only need to provide us with an email address and password to get started. If you are not an Extrabux member, you can still use Extrabux to find coupons and compare prices, but you will not earn cash back.

Is my shopping information secure?
Yes, your shopping information is secure and private. While we can see which stores you visit, we do not collect information on the items you browse while you're on the store's website. The store will notify us of the order details and order amount 1-7 days after you complete your purchase. Extrabux will always be free and will never sell your email address to anyone. Extrabux does not collect credit card information.

How can I edit or remove a purchase that I added?
In your account, you can view purchases that you've manually added by clicking on the "ADDED BY ME" tab.

To remove a purchase: hover over the purchase, then click the trash can icon that appears on the right.

To edit a purchase (e.g. if you made a mistake while adding a purchase): please first remove the purchase, then click the "Add a Purchase" link on that page so that you can add it again it with correct information.

Cash back in my account is listed as Unavailable. What does that mean?
Cash back becomes Unavailable when the store notifies Extrabux that the purchase may be fraudulent. In rare cases, your purchase may incorrectly be marked as fraudulent. If this is the case, please let us know and we will review the purchase with the store and change the cash back to Available if appropriate. Until we hear from you we will need to withhold payment of this cash back, so please Contact Us.

Reconsider . As an Extrabux member, you earn cash back on every purchase at thousands of online stores. Plus it's free! If you don't want to receive emails from Extrabux you can turn off your newsletters on the Account Settings page and still remain a member. If you have any questions or concerns about Extrabux, please Contact Us. If you're sure you'd like to terminate your account, please send an email to info@extrabux.com with the subject "Terminate my Extrabux account" and we will delete your account.

What is the Extrabux browser extension?
When the Extrabux browser extension is added to Chrome, Internet Explorer (coming soon) or Firefox, you can shop online and earn cash back automatically without having to visit Extrabux.com first.

How does the Extrabux browser extension work?
Click the Extrabux icon in the top right of your browser, and make sure you’re logged in. Then visit a store’s website, and look for the green dot on the Extrabux icon. If you see the green dot, there’s nothing left for you to do! Simply make a purchase, and your cash back will track automatically! If you see a yellow dot on the Extrabux icon, you must click the Activate Cash Back link from the Extrabux icon dropdown before your cash back will track.

Also, in Google, Yahoo and Bing search results, the Extrabux browser extension will display an icon next to Extrabux stores so you can easily see where to earn cash back!

Nope, the Extrabux browser extension will remain inactive when you visit a store from another cash back site so that it does not interfere.

Cash Back Payments and Paypal
I just submitted my payment request. Can I change my PayPal email address or select a different method of payment?
Yes, probably.  When you requested payment, we automatically sent you an email letting you know that we'd soon be sending your payment.  That email contained a link that allows you to cancel your payment request.  Click that link to cancel the payment request.  Then visit Account Settings to update your preferred payment method. You can then request payment again.  Note: if we have already processed your payment request by the time you click the Cancel link, it is too late, and we cannot change the payment destination.

My cash back says it is "Paid" but I haven't received my payment yet. What happened?
If the status on your cash back just changed to "Paid", your payment should be in your PayPal account within 24-48 hours.   If the status has been "Paid" for longer than 48 hours and you haven't received the payment, please contact us at payments@extrabux.com.  We can track the payment and let you know its status. It is possible that your PayPal account is not configured correctly. If that is the case, we can provide you with the PayPal Transaction ID and you can contact PayPal to find out why the payment hasn't yet shown up in your account.

My PayPal payment was Denied. What can I do?
First, you need to check with PayPal to determine what changes you need to make to be able to accept the payment. If your payment is "Denied" or "Unclaimed" for 30 days, PayPal will send the funds back to Extrabux.  We can resend the payment once your PayPal account is setup to receive them, or we can send the payment to a different PayPal account.  Alternatively, if you have a U.S. mailing address to send a check to, you can choose that option instead.  Please contact us at payments@extrabux.com. Remember that we can't resend the payment until the first payment has been returned to Extrabux through PayPal. PayPal payments are paid in USD (U.S. Dollars). You will need to make sure you have followed PayPal's procedures to confirm your account and verify that it is authorized to accept foreign currencies. Otherwise your PayPal payment may be delayed by PayPal.

What happens when I send my earnings to my credit/debit card?
After you request a payment from Extrabux, your card's statement will show a negative charge, like a reward or refund. Extrabux will never charge your card, and your information is 100% safe and secure. Note: if you live in China and send more than $1,000 to a card, your bank may ask you to report it to the government. (Please contact your bank for details.) Also, Extrabux does not know about (and is not responsible for) any fees that your financial institution may charge you (e.g. for converting US dollars to your currency).

Using a security code when changing your payment method
Security is very important to us.  We want to be sure that your earnings go to you and not to anybody else.  Therefore, whenever you want to change your payment method, you'll need to confirm that you are the owner of the account.  Here is how it works:

目前海淘速购支持支付宝付款,后续会有更多的支付方式上线供用户选择。汇率以中国银行实际汇率为准。

2. 订单运输时效多久?我如何能追踪我的订单?
海淘购物环节较多,一般用户从下单到收货需要1个月左右的时间。实时物流信息用户可以在Extrabux账户的速购订单里查询。

3. 我的订单被税了怎么办?(我需要支付哪些税款?)
海淘速购一般会为用户选择免税渠道转运,预付关税产品(电子数码产品,奢侈品)自动在结算时将税款计入运费中。

4. 商品缺货我的订单被取消了,款项会多久退回我的账户中?
如遇缺货/商家砍单,用户支付款项会在2个工作日内退回到用户的原支付宝账户里。

5. 订单有发票吗?
国外商家不提供发票。海淘速购是直接在商家官网下单代购直接送达用户手中,商家包装箱内如有收据都会原封保留。

6. 我下完单后还可以取消订单吗?
