The Hermès Constance bag, popularised by Jackie Kennedy, is the pinnacle of pure elegance, and as one of the most sought-after of all Hermès Handbags. The Constance comes in different sizes. Currently it is produced in four sizes, Micro (14 cm), Mini (18 cm), MM (24 cm) and Elan (25 cm and shaped more like a rectangle). Aside from the standard sizes, there's also the Constance Cartable, the biggest of them all at 29 cm that comes with a short leather strap.These include: Constance 23 , 25 and 29. The last 2 have been discontinued shortly after its introduction. However, you may still find them on the resale market.

The Hermès Kelly bag is the definition of timeless elegance. The original prototype for this bag dates back to 1892 when Hermes developed a large bag to hold a saddle. The prototype was modified over the decades. 

The  bag got its name from a "glamour moment" in 1956, when Grace Kelly (actress, fashion icon ánd Princess of Monaco) used the "Sac à Dépêches" as a shield to cover up her pregnant belly. She received the bag in 1954 to use in the Hitchcock movie To Catch a Thief and fell in love with it instantly. Although from then on everyone called the bag 'the Kelly Bag', it was not until 1977 it officially got renamed.

The Kelly bag designed in a gorgeous trapezoid shape and made with the most luxurious leathers and skins,  The bag is now an expensive status symbol. The lining in the Kelly bag is made from goat skin and then the rest of the bag is made of durable leather with stunning grains and patterns that give each bag a distinct look. The construction of each Kelly bag requires 18 to 25 hours of handicraft, with each item being created by a single artisan, resulting in high retail prices. 

 Kelly bag comes in two styles: Sellier or Retourné. The Sellier is the original Kelly. It has a more structured shape with rigid corners and exterior stitching with no visible piping. The result is a stiffer, sharp edge shape. Occasionally referred to as "Rigide".Alternatively, the Kelly Retourné, also referred to as "souple" is turned inside out during its making, giving it a softer appearance at the edges. Its slouchy feel make it a favorite among Hermès.

The Hermes Kelly is available in eight sizes – the number relates to the length of the base on the bag in CM.  Kelly 15 (K15),Kelly 20 (K20),Kelly 25 (K25),Kelly 28 (K28),Kelly 32 (K32),Kelly 35 (K35),Kelly 40 (K40),Kelly 50 (K50) . The K40 and K50 are more rarely selected sizes, but work well for travel. 

With the most common Kelly sizes being K28, K32 and K35, landing somewhere in the middle could be just right for a first-time purchase.  Something to bear in mind with sizing is that Kelly Sellier styles often fit a little less than their Retourné equivalent, due to their firm construction.
