First Look: New Rachel Zoe Collection for QVC

Bravo reality star and celeb stylist Rachel Zoe recently told InStyle that she dreams in jewelry. Take one look at her latest collection for QVC, and you’ll know that the girl isn’t kidding. From chunky cocktail rings to layered necklaces, let’s just say that Zoe’s new accessories line is dripping—okay, more like gushing—with jewels and costume stones.

And really, it’s no wonder. Zoe is a self-described anti-minimalist when it comes to jewelry. On any given day, Zoe admits to wearing at least 12 pieces of bling. (She owns more than 1,000 pieces of costume jewelry, so the queen of star style has plenty to choose from.)

With Zoe in the midst of such a full-on jewelry love affair, it’s no wonder that her latest QVC collection, which launched on March 23, is all about the accessories. From big statement earrings to plenty of to-die-for bags, Zoe’s new collection is all about glamour—and, of course, the drama.

Missed the televised launch on Tuesday? No need to fret. The entire collection is available at QVC.com. So, to borrow a phrase from Zoe herself, are you ready to shut it down?

How Should You Style Statement Pieces?
Nothing about Zoe’s designs reads “wallflower.” It follows naturally that her costume jewelry would be over the top. “You know that rule, ‘When it doubt, take something off’?” Zoe recently told InStyle. “For me, I just put on more!”

With that mantra in mind, Zoe’s pieces are designed for women who aren’t afraid to mix and match and pile it on. Wondering how to style the bling? In The Zoe Report, the stylist’s e-newsletter, Zoe shares her vision for the line. She suggests pairing the Geometric Link Bead Necklace (pictured at the bottom right above) with a sequined knit beret and white tuxedo blazer—both of which are also available here.

But even those with more subdued tastes can rock these statement-making pieces. How gorgeous would that pavé gold watch look with a simple summer dress or a heathered tee and cargos?

  1. Never-Ending Simulated Pearl and Multi-Chain Necklace
  2. Pavé Case Bold Link Watch
  3. Pavé Crystals and Cabochon Drop Earrings
  4. Geometric Link Bead Necklace
  5. Intricate Cabochon Rings in Black and Light Blue

And What About the Bag?
If you know anything about Zoe (and her reality show and first QVC line, which launched last year), you know that the woman just doesn’t do under-styled or understated. While the bags in her new line are real eye catchers (available in colors ranging from sleek blacks to sunny pops of mustard), they’re also true wardrobe staples.

Can’t you see yourself absolutely wearing out this black flap-front satchel (pictured in the upper left) with relentless work-week usage? Of course, I would love to own them all, but I’m quite partial to the slouchy hobo pictured in the bottom left. Oh, just imagine the weekend excursions—the flea markets, the vintage shops, the bookstores. That bag could hold all of my goodies with room to spare.

  1. Large Flap-Front Satchel
  2. Medium East/West Chain Satchel
  3. Large Flap-Front Clutch with Chain Trim
  4. Shoulder Bag with Adjustable Strap
  5. Slouchy Square Hobo
